When a world view such as evolution is demonstrating a marked set of internal inconsistencies, its adherents will only be able to “keep the world view afloat” by using power tactics to defend it (social ostracism, political repercussions, media smear, slander, misrepresentation, economic sanctions, etc.) Any time a theory is internally flawed (as Expelled examined of evolutionary theory), eventually, if held for any period of time as true, it will betray its real internally flawed structure by a need to utilize power tactics in its defense, as opposed to a capacity to withstand onslaught because it is truth. In other words, real Truth may be unpopular but will still remain consistent in its structure and “testimony” and will be enabled to expose lies on its own merits. Flawed models fail internally, cannot withstand examination and must be defended by power tactics if the model is to survive. Expelled powerfully examines such a lesson. – W.
